SEATTLE, May 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Alaska Air Group Inc. (NYSE: ALK) today reported April and year-to-date operational results on a consolidated basis, and for its subsidiaries, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Detailed information is provided below.

AIR GROUP
Air Group reported a 9.8 percent increase in traffic on a 13.2 percent increase in capacity compared to April 2014. Load factor decreased 2.5 points to 83.6 percent. These statistics include flights operated by Alaska and those under capacity purchase agreements, including Horizon, SkyWest and PenAir.

Alaska reported a 9.9 percent increase in traffic on a 13.7 percent increase in capacity compared to April 2014. Load factor decreased 2.9 points to 83.9 percent. Alaska also reported 89.3 percent of its flights arrived on-time in April, compared to 90.3 percent reported in April 2014.

HORIZON AIR
Horizon reported an 8.8 percent increase in traffic on an 8.8 percent increase in capacity compared to April 2014. This resulted in a 0.1 point increase in load factor to an April record of 78.4 percent. Horizon also reported 89.0 percent of its flights arrived on-time in April, compared to the 93.3 percent reported in April 2014.
