Alaska Airlines today launched a "Hawaii Now" fare sale, featuring low fares to Hawaii’s most popular vacation destinations from several West Coast cities, including Anchorage, Alaska, Seattle, Portland, Ore., the Bay Area, Sacramento, Calif., and San Diego. One-way fares start as low as $149 for flights from West Coast destinations and $199 for flights from Alaska.

"Travel to Hawaii has never been more affordable," said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing. "The Hawaii Now sale offers travelers Alaska’s award-winning service for one of the lowest fares available anywhere on the West Coast."

Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 15 and travel completed by Nov. 10, 2010.

As part of the Hawaii Now fare sale, Alaska Airlines Vacations is offering up to $250 off a full line of complete vacation packages for reservations made at alaskaair.com/vacations. Bookings must be made by Sept. 30, 2010, for travel between Aug. 6, 2010, and Jan. 11, 2011. Packages include air transportation, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and tours. Vacations packages are available for travel to Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.

All Hawaii flights are operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin. Inflight service includes meals for purchase in the main cabin, complimentary meal service in first class and Alaska Airlines’ digEplayer, a personal entertainment system offering a variety of movies, television shows, music and other features.

Terms and conditions for one-way fares: Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 15, 2010. Fares are available for travel starting Aug. 23, 2010, for all flights with the following exceptions: Aug. 2 for flights between Portland and Maui; Sept. 20 for flights between Honolulu and Portland; and Oct. 1, 2010, for flights between San Diego and Maui. All travel must be completed by Nov. 10, 2010. Some markets may not operate daily service. Portland-Honolulu service will begin Sept. 20, 2010, and San Diego-Maui service starts Oct. 1, 2010.

Terms and conditions for Alaska Airlines Vacations discount: The discount is valid for complete vacation packages with a minimum total value of $500 up to a maximum value of $5,500 or more. Discounts are applied per reservation and will be based on the original purchase price of the vacation before taxes. Vacation packages must be purchased between Aug. 2 and Sept. 30, 2010, for travel from Aug. 6, 2010, through Jan. 11, 2011. Blackout dates for travel are Dec. 20, 2010, through Jan. 4, 2011. The discount is valid on packages that include hotel and airfare. Promotional code HAWSAVE250 must be used at the time of purchase to receive the discount. This offer does not apply to reservations made by a travel agent or packages that include more than one destination. The discount is valid on new bookings only. The $250 discount is not applicable with any other offer and may not be used if any changes are made to the original reservation. General terms and conditions: Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. A ticket purchased at an Alaska Airlines airport location or through a reservation call center will cost $15 more per person than the advertised fare.
